13 Jun imio Software Solutions appoints Head of Business Development
imio Software Solutions has appointed Ben White as Head of Business Development. Ben joins imio Software Solutions from one of the UK’s largest independent Systems Integrators and brings both operational, commercial and business growth expertise to the role.
imio Software Solutions is based at Sci-Tech Daresbury and specialises in Warehouse Management Software (WMS), Material Flow Control Software (otherwise known as MFC or WCS) and also Carrier Integration Software.
Ben will lead the growth of imio Software Solutions as an independently trading Software House across imio’s existing markets, such as FMCG, Post & Parcel, the 3PLs and retail (including eCommerce) and Ben will look to further expand imio products into wider markets, with a view to grow and strengthen the company’s position in the UK and beyond.
“Software and technology have evolved to the extent that a business can transform its operations through collaboration with appropriate software partners. The instant visibility that comes from real time data acquisition allows our customers to think faster on their feet and provide the services that consumers now demand, such as multi-channel delivery options, or online order tracking.
imio Software Solutions will provide standalone software packages where needed but will also continue to work alongside sister company Conveyor Networks as their primary software partner.” David Carroll, Managing Director.
